Πριν απο καιρο “ανακαλυψα” ενα site στο internet στο οποιο παρεχονται καποια εργαλεια για την αναλυση της κατανομης.
Αναφερομαι στο προγραμμα Shotgun-Insight. Ειναι πολυ απλο στην λειτουργεια του. Αρκει να παρεις μια φωτο τον πινακα που κανεις τις δοκιμες σου και να την περασεις στο προγραμμα. Καλο ειναι το φοντο του πινακα να εχει ασπρο φοντο. Δουλευει και με αλλα χρωματα, οπως αυτο του Σχιστου αλλα με παιδεψε! Τα αποτελεσματα ειναι πολυ χρησιμα. Ενα απο τα πιο ενδιαφεροντα χαρακτηριστικα του προγραμματος ειναι οτι μπορεις ουσιαστικα να κανεις εξομιωση της βολης και να αλλαξεις πολλες παραμετρους, ετσι ωστε να δεις την αποτυπωση της ντουφεκια σου με πολλες παραλλαγες. Ομως το πιο σημαντικο ειναι οτι το προγραμμα δουλευει αψογα και online κατι που σημαινει οτι δεν χρειαζεται να το αγορασεις αμεσα.
Matching a shell to a shotgun means finding the shell and choke that give the best pellet coverage for the anticipated target presentation. The objective is to avoid ‘over-choking’, which implies a smaller effective pattern (and for game, too many pellets in the meat or a vegetarian supper) but not have such an open pattern that targets can slip through the centre of the pattern.
From a digital camera image of a shot-shell pattern, Shotgun-Insight removes the tedium of hand counting pellet marks and allows patterns to be stored, analysed and compared.
